Riding lessons are available for all level of riders from those wishing to pleasure ride to individuals competing for national and world titles in the show ring. Lessons are available in saddle seat, hunt seat, western and driving. We strongly emphasize safety around horses at all times. Beginners are started on a lunge line. We also have a miniature horse for small children to work with, allowing them to learn how handle and groom a horse, without being intimidated by their size.
We teach from the ground up. Grooming, saddling, bridling and basic stable care are all built into the lesson program, giving students a well rounded experience working around horses.
We also believe that riding is definitely a good form of exercise (both physically and mentally), and are willing to help students receive gym credits for the efforts they put forth towards their riding lessons.
